This bit does not make a log that is exactly like a Lincoln Log, but they are a very close copy. I used some Lincoln Logs that we had laying around to help determine the lengths that needed cut. I have made about 270 linear feet of logs with this bit and it performs flawlessly! This bit permitted me to shape each side in one pass without any kickback issues. Multiple feather boards kept the logs in good contact and my fingers away from the bit during milling. I used a dado blade on my radial arm saw to make the requisite notches. I also used a bandsaw to cut some of the logs in 1/2 (length wise) to provide starter pieces for the rows.

This works exactly as advertised. The results look just like in the picture. For those wanting to make home-made Lincoln Logs, this is the perfect bit.
