Helps keeps doors, drawers, and picture frames square and stable.

Overview

All the functionality and fast action of a one-handed clamp, with an additional angle-you can link the clamps together at 90° to help keep doors, drawers and picture frames square and stable. With two clamps tightened onto the workbench and one threaded crosswise, they can work much like a portable carver's vise, allowing you to clamp any number of difficult-to-clamp objects at almost any angle. All components of the 2-In-1 Pistol Grip Clamps can be removed from the bar easily without tools. To link them together, simply insert the bar through the slot of another clamp and close the quick-release lever. The right angle clamps can then be rotated to whatever angle is desired. Sold individually. Available in 12" and 24" lengths.

Technical Details:
  • Easy to apply pressure-just squeeze the pistol grip to tighten.
  • To loosen, trip the trigger release and slide the clamp open.
  • Clamping heads slip off easily without tools so the clamp can be used as a spreader, or for linking the clamps for use as a frame clamp.
  • When used as a framing clamp, the perpendicular clamp can be pivoted along the axis of its bar, allowing for an incredible variety of clamping positions.
  • Steel bar for rigidity and tight clamping power.
  • Polymer clamping mechanisms with no-mar rubber clamping pads.

I really like one-handed speed clamps,...

Daniel C from Saratoga Springs, NY Posted February 7, 2013
I really like one-handed speed clamps, and these have a lot going for them. They have a thicker beam than the usual quick-grips (minimizing flexing of heads under pressure), they have spring-loaded reversible end jaws for spreading, and they can interlock  to make a poor-man's carving vise, although I have not tried out the last feature. The sale price for four really can't be beat. The only problem I've had with them so far is one defective end jaw, which pops off the end of the bar under clamping pressure: Rockler is sending me a replacement. The plastic resin jaws do make me worry about breakage under clamping pressure, but this is true of most speed clamps and so far no problems (grip strength being the limiting factor in applying clamping pressure with this style clamp).
