I have now turned three of these kits and I love them. I am still in high school and love the screwdriver that i made myself. One reason I made it was because it does come with square bits. My dad uses square screws at his cabinet shop, so the square bit come in handy sometimes. I thought that this product was very easy to assemble and to make. I am very pleased with the resuults I have turned.

I bought 3 of these a few years ago and they were high quality. Made a nice project for Xmas stocking stuffers. Just bought 5 more. The new kits have heavier ferrules, a bit wider and thicker, inside diameter is the same. The old ones were not flimsy, but I like the heft in the new ones.

The required drill bit to set the internal sleeve is 5/8". OK, it works but you have to press the sleeve in with a vise or pound it in. Tried a 16mm drill bit and the sleeve slides in easily. Nof for the question, "how much of a difference is between 5/8" and 16mm?" There is .004" difference on the upside. With that said, there would be room for epoxy.
