Sapodilla Head Board, Orchard Walnut posts.
Wanting to break free from traditional strait lines. The sapodila was compliments of Hurricane Wilma and is hard to come by.
The posts are from the center of the tree and were twisted and gnarly but reclaimed with great figuer. mortise and tenon, it comes apart.
Wall cabinet shows dovetailed rock maple case dyed yellow with garnet shellac. Its a bit of whimsy for the bathroom.
The fireplace mantle uses drawer lock corners 23 gauge pins for molding and stain made from danish oil, and fresco color, with garnet shellac and poly top coat.
