A friend gave me this body thinking I might want to bring it back to life with extra guitar parts collected through out the years but I decided to try my hand at wood carving. It took me about two months of a little work every day to get it to this point, there was quite a learning curve for me and about half way through I really made a mess of it so I had to just carve it deeper. I used carving chisels and some of the cutters and scrapers used I ground from tool steel. Not sure what kind of a finish would be best so I am open to any suggestions.
