The olive branch has been a symbol of peace ever since Noah's dove returned with it after the flood. Today we are experiencing another deluge of hate that has again turned the olive tree into an innocent victim. Many olive trees have been uprooted and destroyed. My intent is to rescue these damaged, often charred, burned, discarded victims and with a lathe and hand tools, expose the timeless inner beauty within. These bowls were made from the very trees that have been damaged in this war.
