Raised panel walnut and birdseye maple blanket chest
My daughter is forever thinking up projects for me. When she announced that she wanted a blanket chest we looked through the net for pictures of what she wanted and found a very pretty example of walnut with raised panels of birdseye maple. This is the end result of a whole lot of sketches and dimensioned drawings. There wan no pattern other than what I created as I went along. All mortise and tenon construction with Gorilla glue.
