My wife and I were looking for a pie safe or jelly cupboard for our kitchen, but couldn't find anything we liked. So I started looking for plans to make one. After searching for plan we settled on the Jelly cupboard plans from Rockler (item 36884). I had recently completed a wood working class and thought I could take on a larger project. It turned out to be a great learning experience all around. The original plans called for butternut but I used 7/8'' Hard curly maple and had a stained glass pattern made in place of the punched Tin. I finished it with Aniline Dye Stain, tung oil finish and a couple top coats of wax. The cupboard is a good size for our needs and looks great too.

Time to Build: 101-300 Hours    Difficulty: Difficult

"I purchased 4 sets of Steel Table Legs at a huge discount! More than 50% off compared to what I thought was already a good deal from another online store. Had to cancel that one and thankful I found this site. My hours of searching online paid off. "
