Mobile Workbench
Overall dimensions: 77” wide x 21” deep x 34 1/2” high. Raising the fold away table adds an additional 27” x 48 1/2” work surface.
The primary work surface, drawers, tool tray and table leg are constructed of hard maple and the base cabinet is constructed of ¾” birch plywood with a 2”x4” grid on the bottom for added support. Locking casters are used at all four corners. All exposed plywood edges are trimmed with ¼” maple strips.
The vise at the left end was salvaged from a 30 year old B&D Workmate. A T-Track in the top surface allows portable tools and various accessories to be securely mounted. For convenience, a four outlet electrical box with dedicated extension cord is mounted on the end.

Used Rockler T-Track and casters.

Time to Build: 21-50 Hours    Difficulty: Easy

"I have made several online orders from Rockler, and the customer service has been great. While I have not had an unreasonable number of complications, I have had a few. Each time the folks at Rockler were very quick to respond, easy to work with and resolved the issue in the best way imaginable. Many thanks! I will be a customer for many years to come."
