From designing on paper to completion, this was the most challenging project I've ever done. I built the train in 6 sections for easy storage. It's all wood except for the plow in front, the tube is a concrete form (sonic tube) and the bell. (lol) The wheels took alot of time, I had a another parent help me cut out all those sprockets. Next time I'll make a jig and router them out. You can go in it. steps are in the back. The project went well. Alot of thought and sleepless nights planning it. It's constructed of 3/4 plywood, 1/4 ply for all the trim around windows, top etc. Sonic tube for the barrel, steel studs for the plow. A recessed can light for the headlight. Primer and paint. A local graphics company donated the Vinyl name on the barrel. Tools used: Table saw, jig saw, router, drills, brad nailer. And some basic carpenter tools. Tips for a job like this planning and patience.

Time to Build: 101-300 Hours    Difficulty: Difficult
