This was built for several reasons. First, we needed a bigger storage container. Second, we were tired of seeing a garbage can lying around the house & last but not least, more counter & storage space would be nice. The top is marble tile with a recessed spot for the butcher block to sit in. It has 4 casters for mobility to move around the kitchen, an upper drawer to hold bags, etc and lower drawer holds two garbage containers.
