This a sewing box that we use in our RV when we travel. I built five of these for family members as gifts. The plans came from Woodsmith magazine a few years ago. The protype took several days to complete, but once that one was made the others went a lot faster. The most critical part is the placement of the arms that support the trays. The prototype was made from Pine (too soft and too hard to stain) and another from Oak (too hard and spinters badly on the box joints) and three were made from ash, which worked very well. A fun project.
