I made this crib for my granddaughter who is on the way. The design was done using 3D cad software which was great because it ensured that all parts would fit together.

The main assemblies are the front, back and two sides. The front & back are attached to the sides using Rockler Cross Dowels and 3 1/2" connector bolts. I modified the cross dowels by driiling and tapping a #10-24 hole into the bottom for easy removal. This modification can be seen on the Rockler Fixtures and Jigs section. Tools used were a radial arm saw, planer and portable drill. All parts were made from 3/4" pine boards.

A good plan will keep multiple set ups to a minimum. Think this part through and it save some heart ache.

Time to Build: 21-50 Hours    Difficulty: Moderate

Rockler Parts Used for This Project:
31823 - Cross Dowels (8 per Pack)
31864 - Statuary Bronze Connector Bolts - 3-1/2'' (8-Pack)

"I purchased 4 sets of Steel Table Legs at a huge discount! More than 50% off compared to what I thought was already a good deal from another online store. Had to cancel that one and thankful I found this site. My hours of searching online paid off. "
