A client requested a new fireplace mantel to replace the original '70s plywood box mantel in their home. The design was created to complement the home's existing traditional casework. Crafted of poplar solids, the mantel is finished with semi gloss paint. Mounting of the mantle was accomplished with French cleats along the top and the bottom of the legs.
