I came up with this project because my folks having trouble keeping dog boots together so I cooked up this stand for them. I use a 2by2 4 foot post from lumber yard use 6 inch 1/2 inch dowel rod too. For tools I use a Japanese hand saw to cut the dowel rod with. If you don't have a Japanese hand saw get one. I just use pine for the wood.
