Here's a system to surround a bed with storage. The hinges I used were much more affordable than the other piston assisted top hinges that I have seen.
I had to rout out the face frame in order to use a 3/4" face frame.
Though I had planned the storage area behind the door to the hinges specifications, best to measure the hinges when they arrive to ensure a proper fit. I used two hinges per door.
