Built this entertainment center for myself using mostly scrap material. Wood is poplar spray-stained espresso, with a satin lacquer topcoat. Sides and drawer fronts have beaded panels. Drawer boxes are 3/4" red oak ply, edge banded and butted on soft-close ball bearing slides. Unit has all electrical and speaker connections within the unit so nothing shows outside. Right module has an outlet and speaker connection for a future sub-woofer.

Time to Build: 6-20 Hours    Difficulty: Moderate

"Rockler is my only source for fine tools and woodworking supplies. Every item I have purchased from them has been better than I anyone would expect from other suppliers. Thanks to them I have begun the wonderful and rewarding journey into turning, from my lathe to all my turning tools and gadgets, I am a fan. Rockler has enhanced my knowledge and expanded my enthusiasm. They are customer oriented. "
