Hand carved crosses

My mom loves crosses so I decided to make her these for gifts. The cross without a frame is made up of 8 pieces of wood. I mitered the base then hand carved the darker pieces.
The cross with the "frame" was carved in two separate pieces then glued together then I carved the design that goes down the middle.
I used regular carving tools, and worked on them between work, caring for 3 boys and running a single parent house.

Time to Build: 21-50 Hours    Difficulty: Moderate
