This small chest still needs final sanding, and will be finished in a clear coat. It was inspired by a photo on the cover of a recent Rockler catalog.
The wood is Bubinga, the white is the sapwood, the red is the heartwood from the same tree. Mitered corners and contrasting splines adorn the chest. The raised panel lid is strengthen with internal loose tenons, specifically domino's.
