These pulls are without a doubt...

Guest from Bend, OR Posted May 14, 2010
These pulls are without a doubt one of the best innovations to come along in cabinet hardware in decades. I am so glad to have come across them at Rockler. I was able to replace hardware that had oddball dimensioning that I was unable to match up to anything. These pulls allowed me to update hardware without the need to plug old holes and re-drill new ones. I hope that in the future they'll be able to come up with more styles that use this concept of 'adjustability'. I often refinish old furniture pieces missing hardware that have odd size borings, and it would be great to keep the hardware style from the same general design period. On the plus side though, the simple styling of these pulls let's them blend in with most any furniture or cabinet style.

The quality of the hardware is pretty good. No issues there, though my package did come damaged and a notice from the post office that the package was damaged in transit and an address of where to make a claim should there be items missing. The point is they could have packed it a little better and avoided the trouble. What is important is to note is in order to loosen the set screws from the rings and slide the rings to your own furniture needs, (in my case) the set screw felt like it was welded shut. You will need a screw driver the size of what you would use for eye glasses. It was so tight I bent the blade/end of the screw driver before the screw finally gave way. Extremely frustrating, but the rest of the screws, though pretty snug, were not as troublesome as that first one. Come to think of it, with my luck, that troublesome effort SHOULD have been the LAST one ...huh. My luck may be changing? nah...
