Excellent bit!

Gary Posted June 4, 2014
I use this as a slot cutter instead of a biscuit cutter. The different sized bearings allow me to change the depth of my slot. I used the slots for drawer bottoms on my office drawers and it worked perfectly. I had bought a different brand of slot cutter with only 2 knives and it just burned the wood regardless of how I set the speed. This set cut great no matter what speed I set the router at.

Saw Norm Abrahm use this method...

Saw Norm Abrahm use this method to connect face frames to some cabinets. I used it to attach a bullnose moulding to a base on a chest I am building. Works great for attaching frames, edging, etc.

Sadly missing instructions have people assembling...

Robert O from Gaston, OR Posted February 24, 2012
Sadly missing instructions have people assembling this in the wrong sequence. The correct sequence, starting at the bottom is washer - cutter - washer - bearing - nut. If you put the washer on top, the bearning will be jammed against the cutter. Therefore it will turn with the cutter and smoke the wood.
