John's Granddaughter's New Bookcase - and Clamp-It Tools

We never get tired of hearing from woodworkers who make good use of Rockler tools and supplies. A few days ago, John in Jax, Florida sent us this picture of his granddaughter (who is obviously and avid reader) and the great looking bookcase he built for her, along with a few well-chosen thoughts on the project:

"I love to hear my daughter say while pointing to a catalog, "Daddy, could you make one of these for Lauren (my 1st granddaughter). Just another opportunity to get in the work shop. When it came time to assemble everything, I needed to be an octopus so I could glue, assemble, hold & nail all at once not to mention keeping it square. Well the next best thing is a half dozen "Sure-foot Aluminum Bar Clamps" and "Clamp-it Assembly Squares". The photo tells the story. Those "Maple Gallery Spindles" added a nice touch.

P.S. Got 2 grandsons since making this book case so who knows what's next."

Would John care to share his plan for this bookcase? We have a year-old great granddaughter who would be able to put this to very good use in the not-too-distant future. All I would need are the dimensions and possible a rough sketch of the eave trim under the roof. Thanks. Bill
