We live ~60 miles to a reliable hardware store. It's what will work, it's available with purchase and I don't have to search for it online or in a home improvement center.

What is the minimum gap for each door thickness: 3/4”, 1”, 1.25”?
Mike H
on Feb 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I built my cabinet to ensure a 1/16" gap for the sides, top and bottom. That's likely the minimum regardless of the door thickness. My door is 1" thick. The articulating action of the hinges allows for such a small gap without rubbing against the frame. Also, the hinges provide for a multitude of adjustments which makes it easy to inset a door within the frame.

how do I dismount the door (separate the hinge) after hinge is installed?
judith s
on Dec 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There's a spring-loaded release clip on the back end of the hinge, just pull on it to release the hinge body from the mounting plate. To re-install, seat the hook in the hinge body on the pin in the mounting plate and rotate it away from you until it clicks.

how to i calculate the inset reveal for a 1 1/8 thick door?
judith s
on Dec 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I found an answer to my question. This hinge is good for thick doors 3/4" to 1 3/16" inches. The reveal changes based on the thickness of the door. Search for Blum95-install.pdf and download the pdf file.

Nicely made, liked the adjustably in all directions. No instructions included in packaging. Would have been helpful! Doors were a full inch thick and worked as expected.

Hard to find
This catalog was the only place I could find a replacement hinge for a cabinet I had. Nobody had the selection and variety I needed to match what I had. Hinge fit perfectly.

Great hinge
Worked great for the 1" thick door on my entertainment center. You can easily unclip the hinge to take the door off for easy access and then just clip the door back on. The covers for the screws are a nice touch too.

I used these hinges on some...
I used these hinges on some large and heavy inset 1 - 1/4" thick doors. The client didn't want to see hinges. There are two important things you should know before trying them. 1) on 1 - 1/4" doors, the minimum side gap (between the door and the jamb/cabinet side) is 3/16". You can adjust it to less, but then the door rubs the jamb. This is a much bigger gap than I usually like on my inset work, but there is no way around it. Of course, this gap would be less with thinner doors, but the product information says that they will work on doors of my size. There is no mention of a large gap. 2) it is very difficult to remove and replace the doors for sizing, trimming, safe-keeping, etc. In fact, with the base plate installed tight, you can't even attach the hinge at all, unless you first unscrew the lateral adjustment fully. Even with that, there is only a fraction of a degree of angle where the two will fit and lock together, and good luck finding it while trying to support a heavy door. This makes final trimming to size very tedious, as you have to destroy your carefully adjusted side reveal, then reset it, every time you remove and replace the door. It also helps to loosen and re-tighten the base plate screws every time, but that weakens the base plate attachment. And if your door is heavy enough to need 3 or 4 hinges, don't even think about trying to install all of them until after the door is finally fit and trimmed. Drill all the cup holes, but only install the top and bottom plate and hinges for the trim work. Once you have the door cut to final size and finished, install it for the last time, and then install the remaining hinges clipped to their base plates. Set all screws to neutral position, attach the hinges to the door first, then screw in the base plates where they lie. And pray that you never have to take the door off of these hinges again!
