Overview

Contoured Profile Sanding Grips are ideal for sanding curved surfaces as well as hard to reach corners and uneven surfaces. These contoured grips can be used with wet and dry sandpaper and can be reused.

Each of the contoured profile sanding grips has a concave profile (a profile that curves in) allowing you to easily sand the rounded convex edges. This makes the grips ideal for smoothing detail work such as beads and edges such as round-overs.

The 52654 pack includes 4 grips: (1) 1/4”, (1) 3/8”, (1) 1/2” and (1) 5/8”. Each of these grips is 1-3/8” H x 2-3/4” L.

The 77636 pack includes 3 grips: (1) 3/4”, (1) 7/8” and (1) 1”. Each of these grips is 2-5/8” L.

Had been looking for something small...

Had been looking for something small but functional for a long time to assist in sanding my scroll saw projects and figured I give these a try. They worked beyond my expectation. To think something so small and inexpensive could work so well. I guess my dad was right when he said the simpler something is the better it will work. These feel comfortable and easy to control so you only remove as much as needed. I love finding little gems like these as I scour the catalog, thank you!

I love inexpensive products that work extremely well. These detail sanding blocks fit that category. I finished some six-panel raised panel interior doors with sanding in between the coats of polyurethane. The concave blocks enabled me to remove the little bumps on the bead portion around each panel, and the longer flat portion of the block allowed me to sand the sweep of the raised panel, all with just one or two motions. What is more important is that I could get right to the corners and interior edges completely, and these little beauties also helped to avoid finger fatigue. They are effortless to use and product a top quality outcome. These are one of the best deals around.

What a wonderful little product. These profile sanding curves have really helped me be a better woodworker. Rather than just skipping over, or rough sanding intricate profiles, I can quickly sand them to perfection.Anything that makes sanding easier is OK in my book. These detail sanders are a great buy.
