Project Description: This is my first woodworking bench. I made it out of hard rock maple with no metal except for the Rockler vises. The frame joints are tapered mortise and tenons through a vertical dovetail held tight with keyed mortise and tenons. The top's end caps are blind mortise and tenon joints to hold the top together. I built a jig and used a router to true up the table top. I finished the the bench with Teak Oil.
