Project Description: This is to be a Christmas present for daughter presently serving in Iraq. Used 1/2 poplar with elm burl attached to 1/4 brich ply(good side in). Then made tray to match. Daughter wanted cushion, sandwiched brown covering between 1/4 ply. outside ply rests on stain strip on back, with 1 1/2 tabs of 'velco' to keep it in place. Made cushion to size so it just fits in top framing.
