Project Description: This desk was ergonomically designed to be comfortable for extended computer work. The keyboard tray is adjustable and can be flush with the top or up to 4 inches lower, flat or tilted. The desk and side table wrap around the user so reference materials and a writing pad can be spread out and all within easy viewing. The side table can be put on the left or right with of the desk. The top was made from three boards, two of which are book matched as you can see in the top view. The dovetail joints for the drawers were hand cut using the Frank Klaus technique (mine are rougher than his but they hold). The wood is finished with General Finishes Arm-r-seal to take the wear of teenagers doing homework. Time to Build: 51-100 Hours Difficulty: Moderate |
