Small Chess set


Oak box, board, chess pieces


Project Description:
 It started with me thinking I could make chess pieces with my new mini lathe. The cocobolo and maple wood were so nice to work with that I decided to make a box to hold them. Then I thought I should make a board to play on. Then I thought How about lining the box with red velvet. This project turned out so nice that I'm making another one.
