Chess Board with Pieces |

Project Description: I started out designing a cutting board that expanded into this chess board with case. I used maple and walnut (mostly left over from previous projects) and practiced key post joinery with an Incra dovetail/box joint jig I bught at Rockler. The hinges and clasp are from Rockler as well. I also got a lot of advise from the folk at my local Rockler Store. Time to Build: 21-50 Hours Difficulty: Moderate |
