Project Description: The restoration was a tedious process, being so old,it was difficult to match the color of the wood. The back was missing. I researched antiques, and built one, out of red oak to resemble the dresser. I used paint to blend in color to the wood filler and that seemed to work quite well., by gently rubbing with a rag the paint into the dry filler before, finished sanding and lightly sanding it out, it became invisible to the eye. The roller wheels I purchased from Rockler looked Authentic and were easy to install Time to Build: 51-100 Hours Difficulty: Difficult |
