Project Description: Mobile Workbench Overall dimensions: 77” wide x 21” deep x 34 1/2” high. Raising the fold away table adds an additional 27” x 48 1/2” work surface. The primary work surface, drawers, tool tray and table leg are constructed of hard maple and the base cabinet is constructed of ¾” birch plywood with a 2”x4” grid on the bottom for added support. Locking casters are used at all four corners. All exposed plywood edges are trimmed with ¼” maple strips. The vise at the left end was salvaged from a 30 year old B&D Workmate. A T-Track in the top surface allows portable tools and various accessories to be securely mounted. For convenience, a four outlet electrical box with dedicated extension cord is mounted on the end. Used Rockler T-Track and casters. Time to Build: 21-50 Hours Difficulty: Easy |
