Assembly Table |

Project Description: This is a must project for any serious woodworker. I was frustrated with assembling furniture on my concrete floor that wasn't true and level. I saw this project by Marc Spagnuolo and decided it was worth the effort and expense. It's been the most useful piece in my shop. The top is a torsion box for rigidity and no warping. Also there is ample storage beneath between the 8 ball-bearing full-extension slide drawers (4 each side) and 4 cabinet doors with built-in fixed shelving. It also features power strips on both ends built-in as well as hang-on-side storage using cleats. The best part is it has an air compressor inside with spiral hose on the side. I installed a remote power on/off switch from Rockler on the end. Time to Build: 21-50 Hours Difficulty: Moderate Rockler Parts Used for This Project: 20915 - Safety Power Tool Switch 32932 - Salice® Excen-Three Hinges, 106 Degree Opening, 1-1/4'' Overlay |
