Project Description: I wanted to build a unique Christmas gift for my wife's Grandma so I found this uniquely figured piece of maple to start with. It's hard to tell but the top is curved. The ends of the box were made of walnut which was pigmented black with black ink-jet printer ink. The box was sprayed with a clear lacquer finish. She loved the gift! I got the plans for this box out of Woodsmith magazine. It was fun and easy to build. Time to Build: 6-20 Hours Difficulty: Easy |
