Project Description: I decided to build this after looking at them in various stores and just couldn't bring my self to pay $800.00 - $950.00 for particle board. This entertainment center is made out of 3/4 birch plywood,1 by pine and 3/4 birch fiber core. The drawers are on roller guides, and the shelves in the base unit are adjustable. I built it in two pieces, the base unit is routed to except the top unit, and then screwed from the under side. The drawers are made so you can store VHS tapes or DVD cases. I built it the way I wanted it laid out, and it cost about $250.00. I know this will outlast the ones you can buy in the stores. Time to Build: 51-100 Hours Difficulty: Moderate |
