Two pearl inlayed Jewelry Boxes |

Project Description: I wanted to make two Jewelry Boxes for my two grand daughters Christmas, but I don't have the wood working tools. The Jewelry Box Kit seemed to be the way to go. I was not disapointed as the accuracy of cut and quality of wood was very nice.I inlayed the Mother of Peral and Abalone shell in Ebony wood then inlayed the Ebony wood in the walnut lid. Tweleve coats of lacquer later the project was completed. The shell was hand cut using a jewelers saw. All in all the kit allowed me to be able to make the two jewelry boxes.
