Ladder Chest |

Project Description: A unique solution for a room remodel that included a loft, but also required a dresser to be present along the loft wall. The ladder chest by Alan Harp Design was designed to provide a two sided ladder of quarter-sawn oak to match the floor, while the six-drawer chest resides in the space below. The drawers feature self closing hardware mounted on Baltic birch drawers. The maple planks on the interior of the dresser top compliment the maple plank ceiling. The Ladder Chest is part of a larger room remodel that was chosen as one of the "Best Kids Room Before and After 2010" by This Old House.
