wormy maple hope chest |

Project Description: The wood for the chest is wormy maple, while the top is a multiple species butcher block. Solid wood, raised panels with cedar lining. 45 degree bevel on the corners and using biscuits I glued the sides together. I used Rockler's lid-stay torsion hinges and even though the top is 1 1/2" thick they work perfect. Top is 19" x 34" and the chest is 32"x 17 1/2"x 17 1/2". Time to Build: 6-20 Hours Difficulty: Moderate |
