I made the DS ribbon pen for my nephew who is retired from the military. I sent it to him as a surprise and he loved it. I had some trouble inserting the pieces so I lightly sanded two of the larger inserts. I also broke one of the very thin inserts, but I was able to get the pieces in and apply glue. After flooding the inlay with super glue the piece turn out very nice, no tear out of assembly problems. Definitely worth the time.

Assembly was easy and a good looking pen when finished. This was my first pen that needed the barrel assembled.

Made this for a fellow Desert Storm veteran
The kit was in great shape. It was easier than I thought to put together. Turned nice. I was very happy with the outcome. It was my first inlay kit. Thanks to how well it worked, it won't be my last. Gave it to my friend for Veterans Day. He loved it.
