The only tape I could find that holds wood down tight on my CNC machine. Agree the backing is hard to remove but I figured out a system. Attach tape to surface first. lightly score the top of the tape about a 1/2" length in the center of tape. Pick off with your fingernail. Comes off in 1 piece. If easier to remove backing I would have given it a 5.

I've used several brands of turners tape over the years and they've always worked well, but this stuff is absolutely terrible. It is nearly impossible to separate the plastic backing from the tape. I've tried to use this stuff several times and have had the same problem separating the backing each time. I've thrown it away because it is worthless.

I used this tape for both turning and holding router templates to work pieces. In both cases it worked very well. Held fast and was easy to remove with little to no adhesive residue left on the work piece. It is a bit harder to remove the backing then some others but not difficult. I used a sharp knife to peel the corner of the tape up and the rest peeled off easily by hand. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.

Unusable. Almost impossible to separate the backing paper. Bought two rolls, complete waste of money.

Horrible tape. Arrived with the plastic bag melted into the side of the roll. Worse than that, you cannot peel the backing off this tape! The backing is not paper. it's a very thin layer of cellophane-like plastic. Try putting a piece of duct tape on a sandwich bag and try to peel the bag off the tape. Nightmare stuff. /p>
