I ordered this product after not being able to find dentil moulding at any of my local home improvement stores. I used it on my fireplace mantel, which I totally rebuilt. It worked like a dream. I love that it comes in a roll, which makes it extremely easy to use and store. I liked it so much on the mantel, I ordered more and put it on my living room cornice so it would match the fireplace. I painted mine, and unlike the other users here, had no problem with it accepting latex paint. I am now searching for other places in my home where I can also use it. This stuff is great!

I used this molding for a clock that I made. It helped to contrast the top from the rest of the clock.

Product worked well for me. Used to edge a large divider screen. I didn't paint the screen.

I used this molding around the top of a murphy bed that I made and it looks great! I stained it to match and I couldn't ask for a more attractive or easier to use product.

I used this product to trim out a oak china cabinet I am building and it made a wonderful difference accenting the main molding already on the piece. I have yet to finish the cabinet but plan on using a light stain and hope I remain thrilled. I glued the trim on but was wondering if other fastening methods, brads for instance, would work.

Mine ended up unusable. I tried to spray paint them and the paint wouldn't take between the blocks and the outside edges. The paint soaked in and disappeared.
Tried to brush paint and just ended up with a gooey mess between the blocks. Only way that would have worked would be to individually paint inside each joint between the blocks, which would have taken forever.
I wouldn't buy these if they need to be painted. Very disappointed.
