These were bigger than they looked in the photo, but still look very good. I just made some adjustments when they arrived. I've ordered from Rockler before and have always been very satisfied. I bought the unfinished bun feet to raise my butcher block table to counter height to make it a part of the counter. The feet help with the French country look definitely I'm aiming toward.

Project: refinish a 37 year old bathroom sink counter. To do it, I put 1/2 inch molding around the edges of drawers and doors. I then glued cane (from you) on the fronts of each surface. I then painted everything a rich sand color. Then I painted the cain again with a darker color of sand. Finally, I used a chocolat brown glaze on the moldings. I then painted the buns the same way including the glaze and placed them 5 inches in from the outside edge. And voila! My old, tired worn out bath sink counter looks like a new expensive counter. I also changed out the counter top with laminate wich looks like granite and then tile the back splash with porcelin tile that looks 2" travertine. The eye can't tell the counter isn't granite. I put in a new sink along with oil rubbed bronze faucets and it looks so good! Thank for the buns!
