2) Submitted by Larry, from Raleigh, NC on 6/26/2009 Customer Rating: The wenge wood itself was fine except that it was about 1/32" thicker than the 1/4" I ordered. While this may not be a big deal to some, using it as one component of a 1/4" inlay was a problem for me. I had to plane it down to a consistent thickness with the other varieties of wood that I ordered in order to use it. The others - birch, cherry, mahogany, zebrawood - were fairly consistent in thickness - all about 1/100" over the stated thickness.
