Unique project..built a band conductor podium. Conductor requested for fall prevention rail...hand bar built with application to attach folding leg bracket on each side...Locking mechanism a plus, and design worked perfectly for my project.

I have two pair on a portable work table that is 3/4" plywood 4'x8' with 1-1/2" trim around it and they are strong enough to hold up the table and work on it.

I used two pairs to make a card table because they looked more sturdy than the card table. The brackets worked OK but they require more clearance than I anticipated, so the legs did not nest inside the table as planned. Table was the standard 32" top, would work better with a 35-36" table top.

I used two pairs of these to make a cornhole set that has folding legs for storage. For light to medium duty applications these work great.

I ordered three pairs of brackets for a folding table project. Having read the reviews, I knew in advance that there wasn't a left and right version of the bracket, which was inconvenient but not a deal breaker. When I got my shipment the brackets were bagged in pairs. Four of the six brackets were out of square and didn't want to open and close, but it wasn't two pairs from two bags, it was one bracket from two bags and the pair in the third bag. I was able to get the brackets back in square by clamping them in a vise and rapping them a couple times with a ball peen hammer. There is some play in both of the locked positions of the brackets so I had to make the top leg end touch the underside of my table top to get rid of the wobble. I'm using two by two as my legs and the table is plenty strong. I'll use these brackets again, but I'd really like to see a left and a right version for adaptability and I'd really like the "play" in the locked positions fixed.

I used this for the legs on an outfeed table I built for my Grizzly Table Saw and they worked out perfectly. Easy to operate and lock up and down with ease.
"My new favourite store!
I just finshed my very first woodworking project (A workbench of course...couldn't do much without it!) and I can honestly say I did it mistake-free because of the advice from Charlie at the Rockler Store on S.Lyndale Ave. in Minneapolis.
He sold me what I needed, not what I thought I needed. (which would have been about twice as much!) He was very patient with all my questions, and gave me great advice on how to do things.
These folks are knowledgable and extremely helpful.
