White Shelf Standards

These white epoxy coated shelf standards can be either flush or surface mounted. White epoxy coated standards are made from cold rolled steel. Nails are furnished. Dimensions are 5/8'' wide x 3/16'' thick. Shelves may be adjusted for 1/2'' spacing.

Matching-color supports are also available. Supports measure 9/16'' wide by 3/4'' long.

Haven't loaded the shelves with hard cover books yet but I do not foresee any problem. I would have given 5 stars except that I am not crazy about the nail provided even thought the nail heads matched the color of the standards. Would rather have had flat head screws the were color coordinated.

4) Submitted by Bill F, from Frederick, MD on 2/10/2008 Customer Rating: These standards are flimsy and many of the clips do not seat completely, falling out even before the shelves have been installed. I believe the manufacturing process for both the standards and clips is not precise. The standards will also twist with the slightest movement. I was forced to buy standards and clips from a big box store. Of course, I had already cut the dados for these smaller standards. Although I have been satisfied with everything (literally everything) I purchase from Rockler, these are not one of your better products.
