I made this headboard and couldn't figure out the best way to mount it to the wall. A friend at work found these and told me they may work. They did work perfectly. I can't think of better way I could have done it. Z-Clips are excellent and I am sure I will use them again.

I use these as LCD TV mounts in cabinets or on walls.
Most of the wall mount TV brackets are bulky, expensive, and make the TV stick out. I just run a furring strip across the studs with a couple Z-brackets, and they will hang a TV 70"+ LCD nearly flush! In fact, you can be so flush that I usually have to add a wall cut out for the cables.
NOTE: I do add a couple of round screws next to the outside edges of the z-clips to keep them from moving left or right.

I had a large mirror to hang, and the clips worked just great. With the small 1/8" gap, the mirror looks tight to the wall and hangs nice and straight.

I needed something to hang wall sculptures. This solution was near perfect. The 1/8" gap is hardly noticeable.

It would be great if there was some idea of the weight capacity of this product.
Editors' note: Weight capacity will be dependent on the length of the screws used and the materials being screwed into.

I researched these brackets, and found they had ratings up to 450 pounds. That gave me the assurance that they will hold prized objects such as guns and small wall mounted cabinets. The only complaint I have about these brackets, is they are too loose. One thing I have done is to drill a hole through the back mounting rail of the cabinet, then run a screw through to 'set' the bracket in place. I make a .18" pocket in the back and as you can see it makes a very nice and clean mounting system.
