Create a keyboard platform that looks like a drawer when closed! The pad
(sold separately) attaches to the back of the drawer and becomes your
wrist rest when you flip it down.
You won't find a better value for a slide and platform system that functions
and looks this good.
Specially designed slides make this ingenious system possible.
Incorporated hinges are attached to the tops of the slides, which make
it easy to attach a false front drawer. When you pull the drawer out, the
false front flips down and the 18" wrist rest (sold separately) appears.
The slides are 14'' long with a 3/4 extension.
Hold-out stop keeps slides in position when extended for a stable
typing surface.
Black wrist rest attaches with included double-stick tape to the back of
the drawer.
Wrist rest measures 2-1/2" wide x 18" long x 3/4" thick.

Works as intended but the hinge is very sloppy. I will look for a different configuration when I have to do this type of pullout tray in the future. Rockler customer service was great. I received the slides when promised and at a very reasonable price.

I have used these before and this is the third one I have had to replace. The hinge unit on the slide is weak and attached by a press fitting in the slide. From here on out, unless there is a design change I will drill out the hinge pin and use a small machine screw with a nylon locknut as I have had to do before. For the price it works well and as intended.

I built my own computer desk and needed the false front drawer computer tray slides. None of the local stores stock the slides. I ordered them from Rockler at a very fair price and had them shipped to me in about 7 days. I am very pleased with the product and the company.

My customer had a desk with the exact same slide/hinge arrangement, and desired to outfit another desk with the same setup. It worked just fine, they're happy.

I ordered False Front Hinged Slides.
Delivery was quick. Quality was excellent.
It worked as I had expected. Very pleased with the outcome. I passed on the wrist rest. It is optional and not needed.
"My new favourite store!
I just finshed my very first woodworking project (A workbench of course...couldn't do much without it!) and I can honestly say I did it mistake-free because of the advice from Charlie at the Rockler Store on S.Lyndale Ave. in Minneapolis.
He sold me what I needed, not what I thought I needed. (which would have been about twice as much!) He was very patient with all my questions, and gave me great advice on how to do things.
These folks are knowledgable and extremely helpful.
Charlie & Rockler - Thank You for all your help and all your future help!
- A new loyal customer." -
