Adjustable
Carving Vise Firmly grips your work piece! Attaches to almost any style of workbench or top, and swings out of the way when not in use. Adjustable in all directions for maximum maneuverability. Attaches to workbench with screws (not included). Then drill a hole through the workbench and secure with the provided cap screw and nut.
Carvers Mallet Beautifully balanced with a handle of fine New England hardwood, carefully
kiln dried, selected for no defects and turned to a silky feel and sanded
to a silky smoothness.
The green head is molded from a urethane material which is easy on your tool handles as they spread the load over a larger area. You may never need to replace a broken tool handle again!
Weight is approximately 20 ounces with a 3.5 inch diameter head. The overall length is 10-1/2'' (handle length is 6-1/2'').
This mallet is maintenance free, no special storage required.

I've been using this for about 2 years. The post is 3/4 and will take standard lathe faceplates as well as the triangle top that comes with it. Also, a tap handle will fit the jam-nut, giving you a nice t-handle for leverage instead of reaching for a wrench.

I ordered this product and had to send it back. It is a nice piece of equipment but huge for the beginning carver.
"Recieved our order of glass and wire mesh. All items arrived intact, which was no surprise considering the impressive packaging.
I've dealt with what many companies consider appropriate packaging, which, at best is hit-and-miss.
The packaging methods you folks employ are second to none.
