Met my needs very well. I glued them on as they did not fit with the screws that I had used but they covered the holes and gave a finished look.

Met my needs extremely well. I glued them in because I never plan to remove them. Perfect - hid the screws and gave a nice finished look.

The screws must be flush with the surface. I found this out after the fact and had to back the screws out slightly. Fortunately, I also glued the joints at assembly.

The only way these will work is if the screw head is level with the surface. If you go just a little deeper with driving the screw the cap will not stay in the square hole in the screw.

For me after I pushed them in with my finger, I slightly tapped with a hammer. This way I felt they were more secure and flattened them out to give an overall better appearance.

These caps will not fit screws that have been countersunk. This limits their usefulness if the screws need to be deeply embedded. Also, the quality control is poor as some of the protruding centers of the caps are misshapen and will not conform to the square head of the screw. At least 20% of the caps in the bag were not able to be used.

The screw cap covers did not fit the slots in my square x screws. Had to glue them on to the wood with super glue to hide the heads of the screws.
