Electronically controlled heating element is infinitely adjustable from 200º to 1100º. 120 volts, 1500 watts. Rear-mounted on/off switch and top-mounted heat control dial allow use of a wider variety of edge-banding materials. Light, durable construction and adjustable, non-skid rubber feet. Built-in cut-off knife has a palm-strike knob. All fences and guides adjust using the same Allen wrench. Laminate-covered table is 27'' by 7-1/2'' . Maximum material thickness is 2'' .

1) Submitted by Robert Lahr, from Concrete, WA on 9/28/2008 Customer Rating: This machine works good. I removed the cutoff scissors because it wouldn't work right, right out of the box. As far as edgebanding it seems to work as well as the big edgebanders. The preglued tape sticks well once you get the feed timing down. Don't leave the tape in line with the hot air too long though, or the tape will discolor and start to burn. I mounted a pressure feather board above the work pieces to hold larger pieces down. Overall I am pleased with this product. I do high end cabinetry out of my small shop. So far I have had profesional results.

Once the heat really gets going the tape jogs up and down in the guides, especially on the very long pieces. When using the standard 13/16" tape, I'm not given a lot of wiggle room.
