I make hand made wooden signs. I do alot of relief carving and use this base as a "bridge" between the raised letters and the edge of the sign. It is easy to drill the holes to match your router base screw holes and center hole. Great product.

I just finshed my very first woodworking project (A workbench of course...couldn't do much without it!) and I can honestly say I did it mistake-free because of the advice from Charlie at the Rockler Store on S.Lyndale Ave. in Minneapolis.
He sold me what I needed, not what I thought I needed. (which would have been about twice as much!) He was very patient with all my questions, and gave me great advice on how to do things.
These folks are knowledgable and extremely helpful.
